Catexel has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal, placing us among the top 5% of companies worldwide for sustainability performance. This achievement reflects our progress in reducing emissions, improving resource efficiency, and strengthening ethical and responsible practices across our operations and supply chain.

Catexel has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal for sustainability performance, marking a significant step forward in its journey toward responsible chemistry. Catexel now ranks among the top 5% of companies assessed worldwide.

“This award is more than just a badge – it is proof of our ongoing commitment to responsible business practices and continuous improvement in sustainability,” explains Veda Shashikumar, Sustainability Manager at Catexel.

EcoVadis is a globally recognized platform that assesses companies' sustainability practices in four key areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

The Gold rating reflects the progress Catexel has achieved over the past year. Through targeted efficiency measures, the company significantly reduced energy losses and CO₂ emissions, while expanding employee support programs and health benefits across regions. Compliance systems were strengthened with a multi-tiered whistleblower platform to safeguard integrity, and an ESG rating framework for suppliers was introduced to foster transparency and collaboration throughout the value chain.

With the EcoVadis Gold Medal, Catexel reaffirms its role as a reliable partner for sustainable innovation in the chemical industry. The company remains committed to driving meaningful change through collaboration, transparency, and science-based solutions that benefit both people and the planet.
