Peractive® TAED

Peractive® TAED is a highly effective bleach activator that boosts the performance of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)and sodium percarbonate (SPC). It enables excellent stain removal and hygienic cleaning in laundry and automatic dishwashing applications at temperatures as from 30 to 60 °C.

    How it works

    Peractive® TAED (tetraacetylethylenediamine) is used in combination with hydrogen peroxide sources such as sodium percarbonate or hydrogen peroxide. During the washing or cleaning process, TAED reacts with hydrogen peroxide to form peracetic acid directly in the wash liquor.

    This highly active bleaching agent enhances stain removal at lower temperatures and provides additional hygienic benefits by effectively supporting the control of microorganisms. As a result, formulators can achieve strong bleaching and hygiene performance while reducing the need for high washing temperatures.

    Eco

    Peractive® TAED bleach activators are produced with high purity in a solvent-free process with water as only by-product. They are safe for consumers and the environment, have a low toxicological / ecotoxicological profile and are readily biodegradable.

    The special grades Peractive AC White Eco and Peractive AC White Super Eco comply with Ecocert detergent requirements. Peractive AC White Super Eco also reduces energy use and CO2 emissions through a new manufacturing process.
